Liuna Local 183 Collective Agreement 2020

Medical services: The employer will pay $3.30 per hour (so far $3.15 per hour) to the 183-member local benefit fund. As of May 1, 2020: $3.45 per hour. As of May 1, 2021: $3.60 per hour. The employer will pay $5.40 per hour to the local fund for the benefits of the 793 members. From May 1, 2020: $5.60 per hour. As of May 1, 2021: $5.70 per hour. Renewal contract: effective May 1, 2019 to April 30, 2022. Signed May 1, 2019. Pension: The employer will pay $8.90 per hour (compared to $8.60 per hour) to the Central and Eastern Canada Pension Fund. From May 1, 2020: $9 per hour. Staff on May 1, 2021: $9.10 per hour. The employer will contribute $0.80 per hour to the Universal Workers Union Local 183 Retiree Benefit Trust Fund.

As of May 1, 2020: $0.90 per hour. From May 1, 2021: $1 per hour. The employer will pay $5.83 per hour to the local pension fund 793. Editor`s Note: Organizing Fund: The employer will pay $0.25 per hour (so far $0.05 per hour) to the members` trust fund for administrative purposes. Benefit Fund: The employer will contribute $0.10 per hour to The Central and Eastern Canada Organizing Fund (CECOF) of Labour. From May 1, 2020: $0.15 per hour. As of May 1, 2021: $0.20 per hour. Prepaid legal plan: The employer pays $0.10 for every hour each worker earns at the local 183 Labor Legal Protection Fund to provide legal benefits to workers and beneficiaries. Training Fund: The employer will contribute $0.20 per hour to the 183 local members` training fund.

The employer will contribute $0.60 per hour to the training fund of 793 local members. As of May 1, 2020: $0.65 per hour. Staff transport: staff who are invited to pick up others from the assembly centres and transport them to the workplace and back to the workstation to the assembly points receive 1 hour a day. Advance fees: The employer deducts $0.35 per hour for advance fees. From May 1, 2020: $0.40 per hour. Travel allowance: for all activities outside the geographic area: $20 per day if the employer makes a company vehicle available; Employees who use their own transportation receive $0.42 per kilometre from the construction site to the nearest endpoint of the metro area.
